Neff Slide and Hide

If you have booked in a Neff Slide and Hide - these ovens are notorious for the Slide and Hide system failing. If the system fails even with due care and attention, the repair will need to be organised and paid for by the customer. Some minor failures I can repair on site, and others will need repairing by a Neff Engineer or General Appliance Repairer like myyself.

I am one of a few oven cleaners locally that will remove the door for these ovens and will continue to clean them with these terms.

Oven Rescue Cancellation Policy

In order for us to run our appointment diary efficiently so that we can provide all our customers with a high standard of service, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for the cancellation of appointments so that we are able to give your allocated appointment time to another customer.

If an appointment is cancelled or rebooked with less than 24 hours notice or the cleaner is unable to enter the house, a cancellation fee of £50 will be charged. By accepting an appointment you agree to our cancellation policy.

Faulty ovens, hobs and extractors

Please let us know in advance of any faults that we need to be aware of, especially if the oven doesn't warm up or trips the electrics as ideally we need the oven to be working to assist in the cleaning process. If any faults aren't disclosed and we cannot effectively clean the oven we will need to cancel or rearrange until the oven is repaired which may incur a cancellation fee.

Any faults detected during the pre clean inspection will be discussed with you and a decision will be made on whether to proceed with the clean.

On the rare occasion after an oven clean it can highlight a pre existing fault with an element which can potentially trip the electrics following the clean. It is recommended to leave the oven door open for 24 hours and if it still trips the electrics you will need to replace the element.

Gas hobs will be checked to ensure the burners ignite as they should, any faulty burners on the odd occasion due to build up can be rectified after a clean - generally a Gas Safe repairer will be required.

Noisy fans and fan motors - we do video this as evidence before we start cleaning the oven. Generally this doesn't prevent us from cleaning the oven but we will make you aware of it unless it was previously declared.
